Franklin Downtown Assessment

An early economic development assessment of downtown Franklin, North Carolina, completed before the later economic development strategy engagement and before SMIK was founded.

Context

Franklin is a small town in western North Carolina. In Fall 2023 Muhammad contributed to an assessment of its downtown as part of his economic development work.

This assessment is separate from the later Franklin economic development strategy engagement (January 2024 – January 2026), in which Muhammad served as consulting lead.
